I’m production manager for Radio New Zealand Concert and producer and presenter of the network’s new music programme, Sound Lounge (Tuesdays 7pm – midnight).  Back in the UK I worked for the BBC and for Classic FM.  I’ve an MA in composition and analysis from Sussex University.

I love to play the cello, in string quartet Chamberpot, for Little Bushman and in other small chamber ensembles.

In my own time I’m a crazy gardener, sometime writer and organizer of house concerts.

If you’re after a lively person to MC an event, an ensemble to provide music, a writer, a relaxed venue for a wedding or would like to attend an excellent concert in Featherston do get in touch!

Check out the compilation of footage from the original season of Verona’s Storm show at the old St John’s ambulance building in Cable Street on the Wellington CBD waterfront, and a return season for the Bats Theatre ‘Best Of The Fringe’ mini festival. Storm won the Golden Horn award for best music in the 2002 Wellington Fringe Festival. Verona was Dan Adams, Dan Lambert, Nic Marshall, Jens Rumberg, Allan Street and Douglas Voon. Guest performers were string quartet Chamberpot and Radio New Zealand Broadcaster Peter Sledmere.

This video was shot and edited by Jens Rumberg. Music is (c) Dan Adams 2002
